    Awareness of transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CM) has increased dramatically in recent years, driven by advances in treatment, diagnosis, and education. Learn more about the progress made—and the challenges that remain—as Dr. Ronald Witteles reviews how the availability of disease-modifying therapies, emerging noninvasive diagnostic strategies, and expanded awareness efforts have transformed our approach to identifying ATTR-CM. Dr. Witteles is a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford Medicine and the Co-Director of the Stanford Amyloid Center and Multidisciplinary Sarcoidosis Program.
